Does ReiCat handle logistics and transport for my used catalysts?
ReiCat takes care of collection and transport within the EU. For other regions, shipment terms such as DDP can be arranged.
How long does the recycling and payout process take?
After your inquiry and documentation, we handle the collection and transport of the catalyst from your facility (only EU). Once delivered to our facility, the processing of catalyst takes 5 – 6 weeks depending upon the quantity. After processing the catalyst, the payout is typically completed after 14 days.
How is the value of my catalysts determined?
The value is determined by a third party laboratory based on the contained precious metals like Platinum and Palladium and current market prices. You receive a report on the precious metal content to ensure a fair and transparent payout.
Which catalysts can be recycled?
Our recycling service is currently focused on catalysts from coffee roasteries, covering all common types and manufacturers. We are continuously expanding our scope to support additional applications.
