In Denmark, another Power-to-X test plant for green hydrogen has been launched, with a ReiCat purification unit in place. Three electrolysis plants with a combined capacity of up to 12 MW convert water and green electricity from wind power into green hydrogen. Our ReiCat hydrogen purification plant ensures the necessary purity level of 99.999% before the hydrogen is passed on to a world-leading industrial gases company.
This hydrogen purification plant is designed for a volume of up to 3,000 Nm³/h.
However, as electricity is only generated from wind power when the wind is blowing, the gas purification system has to adapt to the fluctuating capacity utilization. Our HighFlex H2® technology makes exactly that possible. It reliably removes oxygen and moisture to the required hydrogen quality, even at just 10% of the volume flow. The minimal energy requirement and automatic 24/7 operation are further unique selling points of our cleaning systems.
