Highly effective exhaust air purification for production and manufacturing processes
Efficient purification of harmful exhaust air thanks to innovative ReiCat Catalyst Technology.
Codes & standards
Emissions of gaseous and particulate pollutants are unavoidable in almost all industrial processes. Keeping the air clean is a top priority in global environmental policy. ReiCat’s exhaust air purification systems reliably and efficiently remove aerosols, VOCs (volatile organic compounds), particles, odors, and hydrocarbons from your exhaust airflow. Thus, we enable you to comply with legal standards and statutory requirements for limiting pollutant emissions, e.g., TA-Luft in Germany.
Our exhaust air purification solutions use advanced ReiCat Catalyst Technology (catalytic incineration) to achieve the highest purity levels of up to 99 % with minimal energy input.
With few moving parts, our systems are low-maintenance and boast a long service life, providing you with a secure and reliable investment. Building on over 40 years of experience, we guarantee maximum availability.
As one of the leading suppliers in the field of gas treatment, we can refer to many references.

We manufacture our systems as skids in collaboration with a broad network of certified and highly specialized suppliers and partners. The most crucial aspect for ReiCat: Quality control!
Quality control is continuously performed during skid manufacturing and between the individual disciplines. ReiCat always carries out both the quality control and the final leak and functional tests.
We support our customers on-site during the commissioning of our systems. This includes supervising the installation of the systems, filling the tanks, performing final mechanical work, and starting up the system.
The skid construction enables quick and safe commissioning.
Our systems stand for durability. We offer maintenance services to ensure this and supply spare parts, wear parts, and consumables.
A suitable catalyst is selected from our more than 30 proprietary catalyst recipes to suit each application.
The catalyst bed is constructed in modules designed as slide-in units. These can be easily removed from the catalyst housing for servicing.
All catalytic incineration systems can be equipped with (primary) heat exchangers that enable autothermal operation (assuming a sufficient concentration of hydrocarbons). In this case, we reduce the energy input to a minimum.
The remaining energy in the exhaust air stream can be utilized via an additional (secondary) heat exchanger.
In thermal incineration, the polluted air is heated to 750-1,000 °C to oxidize the volatile organic compounds (VOCs) to water and CO2 / carbon dioxide.
In contrast, in catalytic incineration, the reaction temperature required for complete combustion is reduced to 250-400 °C.
This reduced temperature drastically reduces the amount of primary energy required compared to thermal incineration.
The lower temperature load of a catalytic incineration system also increases the service life of all materials used.
Yes. By selecting a suitable ReiCat catalyst, exhaust gases containing chlorine can be treated at reduced temperatures. This prevents the formation of dioxins.
For the majority of applications in exhaust air purification, catalytic incineration is the appropriate technology. However, if more significant quantities of combustible substances, e.g., CO or H2, are present in an exhaust air flow, generative incineration is also an option. This is a process patented by ReiCat that purifies exhaust air with minimal energy input.
In generative incineration, the combustible exhaust gases are mixed with natural gas and converted through a burner with forced ventilation developed by ReiCat. Thus, the entire energy content of the exhaust gas is used for heating. Only a minimal amount of additional primary energy is required. The subsequent catalytic incineration ensures complete and permanent conversion of all residual impurities.
Our systems use the process of catalytic incineration to reliably and efficiently remove aerosols, VOCs (volatile organic compounds), particles, odors, and hydrocarbons from your exhaust air flow.
